5-Day Club
What is a 5-Day Club? It is where the Bible is taught to children, giving an opportunity for the unsaved child to hear the Gospel, but it also challenges the saved child to grow in their walk with the Lord. The children are challenged to see the mission field that is all around them each and every day and in other countries all around the World. They are also encouraged to share their faith and invite friends to join them in club.
Who sponsors 5-Day Clubs? They are sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship of Dauphin County, Inc., an interdenominational, faith ministry which began in 1959. Since then, tens of thousands of children have enjoyed participating in clubs throughout our County.
What happens at a 5-Day Club? Children sing songs, hear an exciting missionary story, learn Bible verses, participate in review games and listen to a lesson from God's Word while interacting with puppets and engaging in other fun activities.
Where do 5-Day Clubs take place? These clubs are held for an hour a day for five consecutive days on playgrounds, lawns, porches or anywhere a group of children might gather.
Who can attend? Boys and girls who are between the ages of 5 and 14 are welcome to attend 5 Day Clubs regardless of religious background. You are always welcome to visit a club with your child.
What does it cost? There is no charge to you or any child that attends. An optional missionary offering is taken for missions each day.
Who will teach my child? We carefully train high school and college age students who have a compassion and love for children who are well prepared to involve your child in the fun of learning God's Word. All club workers have been carefully screened as required by the child protection policy of CEF.
